आज के घर की क्या होगी कल पहचान ? गाँव से बाहर ऊसर धरती पर जो थी बंजर लगाया, संजोया गाँव से बाहर  पिता ने  वृक्ष मंदिर ! होते थे वहाँ तब तीन महुआ  और एक जामुन के पेड़  एक कुआँ भी था, पानी भी हाँ साफ़ पानी था  तीन चार फ़ुट ज़मीन के नीचे  पीते थे पानी, जहाँ प्यासे चरवाहे और खेल खेलते घुमंतू बच्चे  हम तो बस खडिया बीनने जाते थे दीये  की कालिख से पुती  अम्माँ की चूड़ी से चमकाई काली पट्टी पर  नरकंडे की क़लम से लिखने क ख ग घ । पिता के पहले शायद उनके पिता के समय के वह पेड  मूक अपने स्थान से देखते रहे होंगे सब कुछ  नि:स्पृह, नितांत, एकांत  कैसा लगता होगा उन्हे यह बदलाव ? गाँव से बाहर ऊसर बंजर धरती पर बना वृक्ष मंदिर, आया था यहाँ मिटाने थकान, वहां जहाँ कोई न हो बस पक्षियो के झुंडो का कलरव, कोयल की कूक,  पेड़ों की डालियों से बोलती सरसराती बयार, उमड़ते घुमडते बादल,  गरज कर बचपन की याद दिलाते हैं,हँसाते हैं, डराते हैं । चमकती हैं बिजलियाँ , कौंध जाती हैं यादें  बचपन की उस  तृप्ति का अहसास  जो बचपन बाद जब कभी भी लौटी तो कभी सावन के छींटे सी कभी मूसलाधार । अजनबी और अनजान धुँधली  यादों की शांति मे दीखने लगते  हैं चलचित्र से चेहरे  बहुत से  कुछ पुराने, कुछ जाने पहचाने  अब तो कुछ नये भी लगते हैं अपने से अपनो से ही तो होती है अपनी पहचान ।…
